The Respondus Lockdown Browser is a special web browser that 'locks' a user's computer while they are taking an online quiz or exam. It is an anti-cheating application used to protect the integrity of online exams. How do I install the Respondus Browser? Visit one of the following links to download the browser - Download PC Version. To download and install Respondus LockDown Browser: Go to your Canvas course site and click the link for the quiz that requires Respondus LockDown Browser. Click Take the Quiz. Click Download Respondus LockDown Browser or navigate to Download LockDown Browser.

Lockdown Browser Download Free
- StudyMate Campus comes bundled with LockDown Browser and allows teachers and students to create flash cards, self-assessments, and learning games from within your LMS. This will be included with the above pilot.
- Instructors can download a free, 30-day trial of the Respondus 4 Exam Authoring Tool to help them convert existing exam content (eg. docx) into LMS assessments. See https://web.respondus.com/support/respondus-single-user/.
Respondus Lockdown Browser Download For Canvas Online
- Unfortunately, we are unable to make Respondus Monitor available to K-12 districts at this time. Regulations on the use of video recordings with minors doesn’t allow for quick rollout and licensing.
